Mobile interior detailing in Dartmouth

Daily Mobile Detail is my business — I’m Chris Lyons, based near Eastern Passage, and most of my regular routes are right here on the Dartmouth side of the harbour.

I come to your driveway, apartment lot, or workplace for interior vacuuming, wipe-downs, shampoo when needed, salt stains, pet hair, and odors. From $99 plus HST.

Dartmouth mess is its own thing

Dartmouth drivers deal with harbour salt in the air, Route 111 slush, and the fine grit that builds up when you commute through Burnside or over the bridges twice a day. Spring is worse than people expect — melted snow leaves a layer of sand and salt in footwells, and lake-area parking (Michener, Banook, Morris) tracks mud into carpets through April and May.

I live and work in this area. I’m not dispatching a random technician from a call centre — when you book, you get me, the same person who picks up your text. That matters when you’re trusting someone in your driveway or outside your office with your vehicle open.

Where I’m in Dartmouth most often

These are real stops on my week — not a generic “we serve all of HRM” list.

Eastern Passage Cole Harbour Burnside Downtown Dartmouth Woodlawn Portland Estates Highfield Park Shearwater Cow Bay

Burnside & industrial parks: A lot of my weekday slots are workplace details — you’re inside, I’m in the lot with the vac and extractor. Shift workers and office staff on Wright Avenue, Imar Drive, and nearby business parks use this when there’s no time to drive somewhere after work.

Cole Harbour & Eastern Passage: This is home turf. Family minivans with hockey bags, dog hair, and the full winter salt cycle. If you’re local, I can often fit you in with less travel notice than peninsula runs.

Downtown Dartmouth & waterfront: Apartment and condo parkades near Alderney Landing, ferry commuters who eat lunch in the car, and tight urban parking — workable as long as doors can open and building rules allow it.

Packages & add-ons

Interior-only. Full pricing breakdown →

Deep Vacuum Reset — $99

Reset crumbs, sand, and everyday dirt from floors, seats, trunk, and tight gaps — good after winter or before listing a vehicle.

Daily Interior Refresh — $139

Regular upkeep: full vacuum plus dash, console, doors, plastics, glass, and mats.

Platinum Interior — $189

When the cabin needs a real reset — seat and carpet shampoo & extraction when required, deeper mats, protectant, light odor spray.

For Dartmouth winters, I recommend adding salt removal (+$29.99) on anything above a light mess. The white stains on carpet and rubber mats are common here and need more than a pass with the vacuum. Heavy pet hair and ozone odor treatment are available if you need them.

What to expect

  1. Book on this site Choose your package, add-ons, date, and address. I’ll confirm and show up in my setup — no shop drop-off.
  2. Clear the cabin Grab personal items, car seats, and garbage so I can focus on cleaning, not sorting.
  3. Same person every time It’s a small local operation. You’re not rotating through different crews — it’s me.

Need tires too? Daily Tire in Cow Bay is a separate shop location where you can combine tire work with interior service when scheduling allows — different from mobile booking on this site.

Dartmouth questions

Are you actually local to Dartmouth?

Yes. I’m based near Eastern Passage — Cole Harbour, Shearwater, and Burnside are normal daily drives for me, not “extended service areas.”

Do you serve Halifax peninsula too?

I do take Halifax jobs regularly. If you’re on the peninsula, see mobile detailing in Halifax for how that works from the other side of the harbour.

How often should I detail with Dartmouth winters?

Most drivers here benefit from a solid interior clean in late fall before salt season, a refresh mid-winter if mats are crusted, and a deeper Platinum-style reset in spring once sand and salt stop coming in daily.
