If you message us through Facebook Messenger on the Daily Detail or Daily Tire Facebook Pages, we may store a copy of that conversation so our team can read and respond to inquiries. We do not sell this information.
What we store
- Your Facebook sender ID and display name (if available from Meta)
- Message text you send to our Page
- Date and time of the message
- Which Page you messaged (Daily Detail or Daily Tire)
How to request deletion
Email us at chris@dailydetail.ca with the subject line Facebook data deletion request and include:
- The Facebook Page you messaged (Daily Detail or Daily Tire)
- Your name as it appears in Messenger, if known
- Approximate date of your message(s)
You can also use our contact form and choose a message topic related to privacy or account help.
What happens next
- We will confirm your request by email when we can match your message history.
- We delete matching Messenger records from our database within 30 days.
- We do not automatically delete messages still stored in Meta/Facebook systems. You can manage or delete your Facebook data through Meta’s own settings at Facebook Settings → Your Facebook Information.
